General Ahmad Yani
The General of Indonesian Army, General Ahmad Yani,
was one of the Revolution Heroes who passed away on the Thirtieth of September
Movement. He was born on June 19th, 1922, in Purworejo.
In
his political views, General Ahmad Yani was against and was never on the same
side as the Communist Party of Indonesia (Indonesian: PKI/Partai Komunis
Indonesia). When they tried to make a 5th force which consisted of armed farm
workers, Ahmad Yani rejected it. This is why he was included in the list of

Makam Pahlawan, South Jakarta.
He,
along with the other 7 Commissioned Officers that became victims of Communist
Party of Indonesia's cruelty was then named the Revolution Heroes and their
